The Flying Marcus.
Lance Johnstone, still one of the coolest names to grace the NFL, and one hell of a third-down pass rusher at that.
SO MY MOM AND I WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW CHRIS KLUWE GOT PICKED UP BY THE RAIDERS AND MY MOM SAID THAT THE RAIDERS WERE NOW A BUNCH OF THUGS PLUS CHRIS KLUWE AND I SAID THAT HE DIDN’T CHOOSE THE THUG LIFE, THE THUG LIFE CHOSE HIM
THAT MAY BE THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER SAID
Love it.
Another step closer! Contract offer and now a visit.
Lyle and Al.
A guy who expresses his views strongly (including supporting marriage equality & getting Guy in the HOF) and a great punter. Definitely someone I’m glad to have on the team for both his talent and as a person. Welcome to the Silver & Black!
Welcome to the Nation, Chris Kluwe! I think this guy is a perfect fit for the Raiders, and between him and Josh Cribbs we once again have the best special teams unit in the league (Seabass, Kluwe, Cribbs, Jacoby Ford and long-snapper Jon Condo!). Furthermore, I really respect his outspoken views and he’s a kind of a throwback to the Raiders of old who had a lot to say and weren’t afraid to say it (not to mention he openly rallied for Ray Guy to be inducted into the Hall of Fame!). Even though there’s still some question marks on offense and defense, it’s nice to have at least one unit shored up. LET’S GO RAIDERS! Get Charles Woodson next!
The Raiders are expected to fill their punting void Thursday with a man who should feel comfortable in California — the outspoken Chris Kluwe.
Yes! Perfect signing!
Charles Woodson spent Wednesday meeting with Denver Broncos brass, but he reportedly left Dove Valley without a contract. What’s next for the free-agent defensive back?
A small bit of news but a good one. Come back to Bay, Charles!
Raiders through the generations, from left to right: S George Atkinson, CB Willie Brown, owner Mark Davis and former linebacker and current GM Reggie McKenzie. Love this pic.
New gang in town.
The winds of change: the 2013 rookie minicamp.
Welcome to the Nation, Josh Cribbs!
He’s best known as a return man, but Josh Cribbs is a more than capable receiver, too.
With Cribbs, the Raiders get a standout returner, some depth at receiver and above all an offensive playmaker. He wasn’t my first choice but his heart’s in the right place and as long as he can stay healthy, I’m happy to have him.
The Raiders have made an offer to Woodson.
Come home.
One Nation under Al.
"The massive Raider Nation is beyond doubt the sleaziest and rudest and most sinister mob of thugs and wackos ever assembled."
